Weather advisories
Weather advisories are issued when the weather forecast for the coming day indicates a minimal chance of parachuting being able to take place.
They are not cancellations of jumps but rather advice. If participants still wish to attend the airfield on the off chance, they are welcome to do so.
Weather advisories are displayed on the weather page by a red border surrounding the day in question. They usually include a message suggesting participants contact us before travel. An email is also sent out to those we have email addresses for.
An important benefit of weather advisories is that they give participants the option to rebook for another occasion without having to pay the usual £50 fee – reference clause 30 of our terms and conditions.
If a weather advisory is not posted it means we are hopefully of parachuting being able to take place and participants should attend as planned.
Redeem a voucher
To make a booking using a voucher please click the book now button and follow the normal booking procedures entering the voucher code where indicated.
If your voucher has been issued by a third party, or if you experience any problems, please send a photo of the voucher to office@ukskydiving.com including your name, address, telephone number, age, height and weight as well as the date you wish to jump. We will then manually process the voucher for you and confirm the booking by email.
It should be noted that all bookings are subject to our standard terms and conditions and eligibility requirements.
Arriving Late
Arriving late is completely at your own risk. Skydiving is weather dependant so it’s impossible for us to give exact jump times – for further information please see the Jump Times and Orders document on our website.
We operate a first come first served queueing system, so arriving early will give you the best chance of jumping as well as the minimum waiting period.
You should also be aware that If you arrive after we’ve finished for the day you will have had a wasted journey and may need to pay an additional £50 to rebook as per clause 30 of our contract.
Our advice therefore is always to arrive early and plan on making a full day of it. The latest we jump to is 8pm or dark. It’s always advisable to call the airfield before 9am on the day if you’re going to be late. The airfield telephone number is 01354 699 088 Option 2.
