Accelerated Freefall
Training Course

A tandem skydive is not just an introductory parachute jump, it’s the first stage of a progression system that can lead you to becoming a fully qualified skydiver.

Here’s what some of our club members have to say about their own journeys.

The first part of the AFF training course is to complete two tandem skydives with us within a six-month period – the second will include about an hour’s pre-jump classroom instruction on canopy handling and altitude awareness.

Full details and prices can be found on our Route to Qualification page.

With the exception of the first two Tandem Skydives shown, all jumps are solo descents using a solo parachute system, the hire of which is included in the costs.

How long the 18+ jump course takes varies from person to person. Some complete it in a matter of weeks, others take months. It primarily depends on your availability. The most important thing is to enjoy every minute and soak in what you learn. You’ll make many new friends along the way and learn a lot about the sport just by being around other skydivers. It can be a life-changing experience. Once qualified you’ll be able to jump with others at a fraction of the training costs.

If you have any questions, or are ready to take the next step, please email us at office@ukskydiving.com and we’ll get one of our instructors to contact you.
